The oil body massage

01.11.2011
I would recommend for women, if possible, to have their bodies rubbed daily and lightly massaged. Ideally this should be done 2 times a day, in the morning and evening. If you have enough time to massage the body 2 times a day, do it at least every day a couple times a week; your body and your skin will thank you a lot.

Procedure:

In the summer, use coconut or olive oil. Pour hot water into a mug and put the oil in a bottle. Allow the bottle to warm up for 1-2 minutes and massage your body from the feet up to the face. Ideally, the oil should also be massaged into the top of your head (which, particularly for long hair, should be done during the day when you wash your hair). This body massage can be performed for 2 minutes up to 20 minutes. You should wear a dressing gown intended for this purpose and leave it on for 20 minutes (meanwhile you can do anything else). After 20 minutes, you can take a shower. The body will take everything it can during the 20 minutes, there's no point taking any more time. What is it good for? Your body will be filled with blood and you will nourish the tissues, muscles and even the organs in your body, which will take what they need. People who know Ayurveda a little bit will know how important is for many women to reduce Vata (Vata negative symptoms: stress, nervousness, restlessness, poor sleep, depression, anxiety, etc.). This method is also great for pregnant women - maybe even of extra importance. A secondary effect (it is not the primary purpose because the primary purpose is health not beauty) is that after a short time your skin will be perfectly stretched, wrinkles begin to fade and shrink, and the skin on the face becomes beautifully elastic and stretched. In the winter you can use sesame oil, which should be organic (can be bought from health food stores). You have to let it ripen. Sesame oil is ripened so that we can buy 2-3 bottles of good-quality sesame oil (one bottle should be enough too). Take a good pot. Put 2-3 drops of water on the bottom of the pot. Pour sesame oil into the pot. Warm up the oil on a low flame. When water droplets begin to sizzle in the oil take the oil away from the stove. Leave it to cool off and then pour the oil through a funnel back into bottles. The oils do not have to be stored in the refrigerator. Use them until we run out of oil.
