News for October 2013 - Inactive users
12.10.2013
1. In the last newsletter we informed you that we delete from the database all users who have been inactive for more than a year. We thus want to save time for active users who are looking for a partner. Due to numerous requests we eventually changed definitive deletion into status - inactive user. Inactive users will remain in the database but will not be displayed to active users. Their profile will not be deleted. If inactive users want to participate in the process of looking for a partner, they just sign up again and thus will be displayed on the menu to other users. It is advantageous for active users because tens or hundreds of inactive users have been unnecessarily placed in the current database so far. And users do not have to pay for “topping” to get to the front position as in other dating agencies.
2. Besides the fact that the profile of inactive - deleted users will not be deleted and inactive users will not be displayed to other active users, as we mentioned above, they won’t be receiving messages from other users as well.
3. Definitive deletion of the profile will continue to apply only to users who have violated Terms of the website. This means that they for example bothered other users with improper proposals, business offering of various types and using vulgar words. In this case, not only their profile and account will be deleted, but also their email addresses, nicknames and IP addresses will be placed on a publicly available Black list in all languages.
